We should have a mini pet giveaway, not even on single person did really get a mini pet ... (but gaile is on it, she is trying to know why they havent been given out.)

But we had for 1 month lagg, then they fixed it ...
Okay the problem was big, but i hope you dont have to wait that long, can you remember that dragon festifal redux?
At the first Dragonfest half europe had lagg about 1.000+ MS ...

I personally don't see the fascination towards lots of different language districts. It just spreads the player base even more thin, and even now some outposts are deserted. The vast majority of the target group of this game can communicate adequately in English so that shouldn't be an issue either (not counting those who choose to use chat room 1337 3ngl1sh and whatnot).

This is coming from a Finnish player who would really dislike the idea of a separate Finnish or Scandinavian district.

Shame really... My name might be acknowledged, but that means nothing when nobody can see my awesomeness.

But at least you seemed to think that I was more "on topic" than the original post. ^_^

Aside from the Dutch government implementing a bank-card system that can be used in the A-Net shop, I doubt anything can or will be done about that.

Every event is based on American times, europe player will miss 8 hours of every event, with the release of Eye of the North, we in europa could play at 9.00 AM, when we where at school/work, the American player could start at 0.00AM.
This makes absolutely no sense.
The event starts at midnight-ish In the States.
So the US folks can play from midnight to 7ish when they go to work. Then for the next 8ihs hours they miss the event because they are at work/school.
The event starts at 9am-ish in Europe.
EU players miss the first 8ish hours because they are at work/school.

Europe and US players that have school/work BOTH lose 8ish hours of play on Friday.
The only difference are the players in the Far East - they lose 8ish hours of play at the end of the event.

Having your own language district is overrated. I'd rather be in a full English district than in my own empty Dutch district.

Of course, Halloween is a payed holiday in the US...oh wait, no it isn't.
A lot of people have to work on October 31, so yeah, going to work after a night of GW produces poor results on the workfloor.
Basically, most Americans will be screwed out at night until they get home from work, or basically get screwed out of 17 hours of the event (you only need to be on for like an hour when the Mad King arrives anyway, since you can usually visit both places in a single go)

Then not forgot the dutch players, we wanted to get a Dutch "server", Anet said NO!
I said "no" too. Dutch server would suck. The only reason the Polish got a district was because they translated a large part of the game themselves and sent it to ANet.

Quote:
Then the ingame store, we asked for other payments, Anet said again NO
Then its almost 31 oktober, and the Dutch and Belgian players just have bad luck, because Anet doesnt support them.
Well, yeah, I'll agree here, but I'm mostly blaming ANet's poor marketing.

We miss the hours also on the end of the event, lets say

We have to work on friday from 9AM to 5PM
And then on monday we need to get to work lets say
11PM you got to bed
So you can play from friday 5PM til sunday 11PM so that are 54 hours

But it depends how late you go to bed, how late you stand up, but i made this topic to make clear that Anet doesnt care about us, not to change times ... =/

I just want a different payment for us in the stores!

Oh geez, coming from a European player (England, UK) I couldn't really care.. They can not and will not accomodate for every effing timezone.. I don't expect ArenaNet too either - why should they, really?

Why should the Dutch get there own servers too? The other language-based districts got removed because there barely used, sure there may be a huge majority of Dutch people playing, but then you'd get threads from every other country complaining that it's favourism bla bla, why can't we get one too? Etc.. Constant whining, you guys will never let ANet win.

Give it a rest.

Folks who insist on staying in English districts should then speak English IN those districts. People who speak languages in the Local / All channel in the wrong districts FOR those languages are a blight upon the game.

I mean... do I go to the German Districts and start calling out to people in English? NO! If I go to the German District then I try my utmost to communicate in German, and if it proves beyond me (my ability to communicate in German is mediocre at best) then I'll either leave, or take my English to one of the other communication channels to excuse myself.

And the US people don't need to sleep from midnight (when the event starts) to 7ish once they need to go to work or school? They also lose those 7ish hours AND the hours that they spend at work then.

Let go of the time-thingy - it has absolutely no relevance and if anything it just makes this thread a joke.
Your request for different payment options on the other hand IS completely valid so it's silly to drag it down with the inclusion of a silly example that just doesn't make sense.

Come on. Please do not whine like this. Arenanet does care for us, Gaile is currently looking into the PCGameplay minipet issue, just for us Dutch players. They do care, they just can't make everyone happy all the time...

If it wasn't going to be Customised when I got it (as I know it will be), I'd give you the "exclusive stuff". I'm only doing it for the plot-related experience.

No such luck, old boy. BMP is a solo mission, you don't even have to use your own character.

Maybe someone will post a video of the experience on YouTube.
Aside from that, I doubt you'll be able to try it.

PuGs won't work as we won't be playing AS our own characters.

1. It's an American holiday.
2. Arenanet is an American company.

It's not hard to put together. It would be nice if they hat hat traders for Halloween though. Sure, there's no event items to collect, but it's not hard to add one, and just make the traders for the next week only require one of these to get a hat. Sometimes I worry about the intelligence behind these events.

'We are adding hat traders so people with obligations can get them later, isn't that neat?'

*next event*

'Sorry, we are reusing last years scripts and can't be f*cked adding an item for people to collect to get hats from a merchant this year'.

*event is over*

'Wasn't that great? Oh, wait, why are you people complaining again?'

Postbank had an offer for a -one year free creditcard- some months ago. I took one, ordered GW:EN online and a few Character Slots, and cancelled the contract. So free cc for me. I suppose you need to be 18+ though, but you might want to shop around at some other banks.

No matter when events are, someone is going to get a bad time. The events have to be started at some time, so it makes sense to start then when it is convenient for Anet.

This is the most pointless complaint I have seen in awhile.
